EMBRACE's mission is to inspire today’s youth to embrace each other’s differences and understand that everyone’s voice deserves to be heard. To foster the belief that their differences define them and can be cultivated into viable skills to mold them into productive members of society.

As parents and peers it is our responsibility to educate and consult with our youth and educators about understanding the changes within multicultural classrooms in todays world.

1. A close affectionate and protective acceptance
2. Include in scope; include as part of something broader; have as one's sphere or territory take
3. Up the cause, ideology, practice, method, of someone and use it as one's own

DIVERSITY (di·ver·si·ty)
a. The fact or quality of being diverse; difference.
b. A point or respect in which things differ.

MULTICULTURAL (mul·ti·cul·tur·al)
1 Of, relating to, or including several cultures.
2 Of or relating to a social or educational theory that encourages interest in many cultures within a society rather than in only a mainstream culture.

PLURALISM (plu·ral·ism)
a. condition in which numerous distinct ethnic, religious, or cultural groups are present and tolerated within a society.
b The belief that such a condition is desirable or socially beneficial.
